Chikmagalur, A Heaven Hill Station of Karnataka-India, Travel Guide

   Hello folks, Today we have a very interesting topic and we don't know how to describe it in Words. We are talking about Chikmagalur, words are not enough to describe the beautify of this hill station because of this hill station is alluring and beautiful. Chikmagalur is basically a small hill station of Karnataka which is located on the foothills of Western ghats Mullayanagiri Peak.



  This Place has magnetic attraction on tourists especially popular spots for nature enthusiasts, explorers, trekkers and thrill seekers. It  has a beautiful view of lush green trees and beautiful green mountains. Coffee dense plantations, wildlife sanctuaries, Peaks, cloudy hills makes it more attractive to this tourist destination.

  Chikmagalur is the largest producer of Coffee in India. Chikmagalur boasts of many trails of trekking like Kemmanagundi trek, mullayanagiri trek and baba Bundagiri trek.

Chikmagalur has its own Airport you can connect directly by flight.

What are the things to see in Chikmagalur?

Mullayanagiri Peak, This is a peak of a mountain, this place is near about  to km away from Chikmagalur. It is also the Highest peak of Karnataka from where you can see miles of unexplored and explored places.

Kudurekuha Jamly, It is a Mountain Range of Chikmagalur and the Most beautiful place to Visit. The Beauty and serenity we are unable to describe in words, but as per the experience it is a mountain range covered with grasses and trek which is so mesmerizing and adventurous. Most of the time clouds come down on the hills which makes the views more beautiful.



Coffee Museum, This museum is Situated in Chikmagalur, India. The museum have all informative things related to the process of making coffee. From Plantation to the factory process all things are available here. The museum acquaints Geography, botany and History with technological and traditional aspects.

Hebbe waterfalls, This waterfall are located in Kemmangundi, chikamagalur. It is gushed down from the Height of around 550 Feet in Two types of stages one is Chikka Hebbe and another one is Dodda Hebbe (small and big falls).


   There are so many more places to visit like Bhadra Wildlife Sanctuary, Bab Budan Giri, Anjaneya Temple, Azaad Park, Kallathigiri falls, Dantaramakki Kere, Kodanda Ramaswamy Temple, Hirekolale Lake, Kodandarama Temple, Rameshwara Lake Etc.

River RaftingBhadra White water rafting is very famous in chikmagalur. There are 4 to 5 Rapids and a long stretch of 8kms you will get a great experience here.

  Town Canteen, this canteen is famous for its south Indian dishes like Dosa etc. and also serves Kheer, Sheera, Gulab jamun etc.
